  • Dr Alistair Newbould BVM&S, MVM MANZCVS (Small Animal Radiology)
    Veterinarian

    Alistair is a graduate of Edinburgh University Veterinary School, emigrating to New Zealand in 1985. He is the practice founder and principal. His clinical interests include imaging (radiography and ultrasound), cardiology and surgery. Outside of work two of his main passions are motorcycling and skiing. It is with very great pleasure we announce that Alistair has successfully passed the required membership examinations (written, oral and practical) to gain membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Radiology. He has prepared and studied for these rigorous examinations in addition to his normal long working hours. We are all very proud of his achievements.

  • Dr Michelle Mills BVSc MVM
    Veterinarian

    Michelle joined the veterinary team in 2009 following her graduation from Massey University. She is a friendly, thorough, client-focused practitioner. She has proven to be a great asset to the team and has quickly become a firm favourite with many clients and their pets. Michelle recently completed her Masters of Veterinary Medicine and clinically has a particular interest in dermatology, internal medicine and canine behaviour. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys playing the piano, attempting pilates and exploring the beautiful local beaches with her husband, Lucas, and golden retriever, Lily.

  • Dr Alison Myers BVSc MVM
    Veterinarian

    Alison Myers graduated from Massey University in 1997 and started her veterinary career in a busy mixed practice in Stratford, Taranaki. Four years later she moved to the UK working in small animal practice honing her clinical skills and taking advantage of the continuing education opportunities. She returned to New Zealand in 2004 and has been happily settled in Dunedin ever since. She has a special interest in ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery and neurology. Whilst working full time she studied towards her Masters in Veterinary Science which she attained in 2015. Outside of work she enjoys camping, cycling and family fun with her husband Dean, daughter Amelia and two cats; Mo and Pretzel. Both cats came through this clinic needing a home.

  • Dr Sue Robb
    Veterinarian

    Sue Robb, previously worked as a companion animal veterinarian in Alexandra and in an Emergency Clinic in Christchurch, but took a short sojourn in the North Island to get married. Between her and her partner they share 5 adult children, one granddaughter, one dog and three cats, and we hope to add chickens and milking sheep to the mix in the middle of summer.

    Animals, especially cats, have been her passion since she was a toddler: “I feel so privileged to be a veterinarian and be allowed to work with my special interest. More recently, this has extended to Yellow Eye Penguins, Little Blue Penguins and an assortment of New Zealand natives. My other interests include photography, touring, publishing, and software design”

  • Dr Yifang Tay
    Veterinarian

    Yifang graduated in 2010 from Massey University. Following that she practiced in Singapore for 3 years before heading back to work in New Zealand. She joined the team in December 2017. She is currently enrolled in a Veterinary Postgraduate program and her special interest includes oncology. Outside of work you might find her holed up reading a good 'ole fiction book or walking in a park.
